Making your own should contain a lot less sodium as well. Those freezer entrees are loaded with it!

Love the Dutch Baby post you submitted. I had never heard of it, but now I make it often. So good!

Thank you pirate96!!! I made this for breakfast this morning with a side of bacon and hubby and I LOVED it! I was amazed when I took it out of the oven to sprinkle the powdered sugar..oh my, that little bit of […]

My (now) husband’s mother gave me this same recipe years ago, before we were married. She called them “Cow Piles”! He loves them to this day, and so do I. (And he still calls them Cow Piles!)

Thank you, Kathi! This is the kind of recipe I love…quick & easy. (Long lists of ingredients turn me off!)

Hmmm…I might actually start making home made bread if I can get my hands on one of those. That is awesome!

Would never have guessed that was a cucumber!

Those patties sound pretty darn good! My mom has plenty of trouble with her bottom dentures. She loves salad, but can’t hardly chew it now, and of course, meat can be a very big problem! Thanks for the ideas!

Awe, that was such a sweet story!
(Maybe one of the Admin’s can add the amount of butter to the recipe, because I want to save the recipe to my box and know I won’t remember how much to use…LOL!)

Oh, that last pic of the filled plate…yummo! I love to grill out in the summer. We use charcoal and usually have burgers or steak, sometimes boneless pork chops or chicken breasts. Sometimes corn and usually baked potatoes. I’ve even fixed fries on the grill for a side with our burgers. Foil is a magical [...]

Wildly Wonderful: 11 months, 1 week agoI was raised in Cross Lanes and then lived in Nitro for about twelve years after I got married. In 2002, hubby and I moved to Tornado and this is probably where we will stay. We both work in Charleston, hubby at CAMC Memorial Hospital, and I work at the State Capitol Complex. (All places [...]

This sounds like a very good recipe. I’ve made macaroni salad, but not potato salad (afraid to!)
And Suzanne, send some of those eggs to me….LOL! (I have NEVER eaten a farm fresh egg that I know of, can you believe that?)

Tee-hee, I feel so much better now! I hate mopping floors too. I can totally relate with HeatherB’s comment. My house is always “in order” because I can’t stand clutter, but there’s plenty of dust bunnies around if you go looking for them (and cobwebs)! I guess I feel guilty about it because my mother [...]

Great instructions. I wish I had something to contribute, but “I’m not worthy!” I think all of the posts have been very interesting, and I’m glad to see your site keep growing. I have many a recipe saved!

Onions. And like Banana said above, they always make me cry. This would be a wonderful thing to win! Thanks for the opportunity.
